As members of the Simplifile e-recording network, which is the largest in the nation, settlement agents in these jurisdictions can now electronically submit documents directly to the county recording office via Simplifile’s secure e-recording service. Within minutes, the county recorder is also able to review, stamp, record, and return documents electronically through the Simplifile system. The secure platform also reduces errors and eliminates check-writing costs by allowing settlement agents to electronically pay recording fees and other associated expenses.
