PATTERSON, N.Y. /Mortgage and Finance News/ — JMT Consulting Group, a premier provider of technology and services to the nonprofit sector, announces the availability of ACCELERATE grants towards the purchase of Abila MIP Fund Accounting software. JMT Consulting will also offer matching grant awards. These grants will award the equivalent of 50 percent of the purchase price of Abila MIP Fund Accounting system up to $10,000.

“Our goal is to empower growing nonprofits with fund accounting software so that they can improve their organization’s financial functions,” says JMT Consulting CEO and Founder, Jacqueline M. Tiso. “Without a proper fund accounting system it is difficult, if not impossible, for nonprofits to manage effectively and ensure the fulfillment of their mission.”

Two types of grants will be available from JMT Consulting through their ACCELERATE Program at http://acceleratenpo.com/ .

There will be grants for complete 3-user Abila MIP Fund Accounting systems, including the following modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budget Reporting, Bank Reconciliation, Data Import/Export and Forms Designer for up to 3 concurrent users.

The grants will be awarded to a minimum of 15 nonprofit organizations in 2015. In order to be eligible for the grants, organizations must be a 501(c)(3) and have an annual operating budget of less than $5 million, per their most recent IRS Form 990.

“When a nonprofit has a fund accounting system designed for nonprofits, they benefit from greater financial insight into their organization and provide expected transparency to their constituents,” says Tiso. “With Abila MIP Fund Accounting, financial directors can abandon spreadsheets because reporting comes directly from the system. Better reporting means the nonprofit organization can stay organized, make informed decisions, better manage the funds they have, and put themselves in a position to win more grant awards and attract more numerous and larger donations.”

Nonprofits interested in being considered for these two grant award programs may apply at http://acceleratenpo.com/.
